This is the new Clam Shell Roof Top Tent from Mako56 for the 2024 camping season.
Unlike our standard Car Camper roof tent, this new roof tent pops up in a triangular or clam shell shape providing a lot more head height at the entrance to the tent, in addition, this tent offers more protection from buffeting from the wind if parked head-on to the wind’s direction. Ladder can be mounted at the rear door or at either side. Extremely easy to open / close as there is only two clips.

This roof top tent is suited to a car, SUV or van and will fit on any roof rack and weighs 65 KGs.
The roof tent is easily opened by unhooking two metal clips which allows the roof top tent to gently spring open as the roof top tent is fitted internally with hydraulic arms at the rear corners. Extremely easy to close – faster than the standard pop-up Car Camper – as there is only two clips
